JOB FUNCTION:
Implements tools and strategies to translate HR data into valuable business insights. Responsible for HR data availability, consistency and reliability across HR platforms and tools. Partners with relevant HR leaders (e.g., GSS, HRIS and function leads) as well as IT, Finance and Legal to develop and implement an HR data and analytics roadmap including on-going improvements in systems, tools, and sources of data. Manages HR analysts and helps them to apply industry knowledge to interpret data and deliver insights to improve business performance. Responsible for leading a high-performance culture by managing the performance, development and engagement of team members Prioritizes request to develop and enhance dashboards, conduct analyses, and provide ad-hoc reports to support business needs and initiatives. Drives proactive identification of trends or patterns in complex data sets that may require deeper analysis and shares with appropriate HR leadership. Educates leaders across HR and the business on how to leverage best practices on data management, data visualizations, pattern recognition and predictive analytics. JOB
Responsibilities:
Responsible for defining company-wide HR metrics, computations, and relevant data sources. Identifies additional phases and/or requirements including a timeline of activities to enable more advanced reporting (e.g., strategic, predictive, and advanced analytics.) Develops and implements data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Provides feedback to HR Data Analyst(s) that furthers their ability to understand business context and leverage more sophisticated statistical software and tools. Identifies and evaluates potential new approaches and tools to leverage at UL and create business cases for on-going improvements. Develops executive presentations (e.g., Board of Directors, CEO, etc.) that provide key insights and potential actions. Transforms complex data into creative graphs, tables, charts, and other graphics to present and/or share the data in a comprehensive and concise manner. Uses data to build consensus. Uses advanced mathematical methods to analyze and interpret data from various sources. Uses established statistical methods to determine data sources, sample sizes and appropriate methods to create and interpret reports. Contributes to highly complex aspects of a project. Presents and explains difficult or sensitive information to appropriate audience at the appropriate level. Drives a high performing team by managing the performance and development of team members. Operates effectively in the UL matrix to actively support and drive high performance culture changes, transformation efforts and people engagement. Holds team and self accountable for results, defines accountabilities and establishes performance objectives and metrics to execute strategy. Develops and coaches by providing, training, career counseling, feedback, guidance to drive high performance and morale. Ensures understanding of and compliance with all established policies and requirements. Oversees all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality Develops criteria to prioritize requests and evaluate capacity to serve business needs. Ensures understanding of business context and competitive landscape to enable the team to deliver key insights. Interprets data from multiple sources and analyzes results using sophisticated statistical techniques. Works with team to proactively identify trends or patterns in complex data sets that may require deeper analysis and shares with appropriate HR leadership. Assesses trends and provides analysis to identify emerging business critical issues. Develops recommendations for more sophisticated methods and tools to support predictive analysis. Implements changes and creates plans to drive understanding and measure adoption. Stays abreast of industry news and trends to upskill leaders across the organization and faciliate a more data-driven culture Read and follow the UL Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. Performs other duties as directed. What makes you a great fit:
University Degree (Equivalent to bachelor's degree) or Masters in HR Data and Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Management, Statistics, or a related discipline and generally five plus years of experience in data and statistical analysis strongly preferred. Proven managerial experience including managing a data analytics team Familiarity with Oracle / Oracle HR systems Strong in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, data management and data integration skills with an ability to organize, analyze and correlate data information. Experience with top data visualization software such as Azure, Tableau, and D3.js and statistical analysis tools such as R, Python and SPSS. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with executives including technical and non-technical stakeholders Previous experience doing large scale data analysis is required and proven experience leveraging analytical skills to spot tendencies in batches of data. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
