The Regional Environmental Health & Safety Manager leads the administration of environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs and initiatives for the organization at multiple sites throughout the region. This includes the development, implementation, and evaluation of EHS initiatives related to occupational safety and health, environmental compliance, industrial hygiene, accident prevention, safe work practices, training, and counseling management of best EHS practices. The Regional EHS Manager also:
Leads and develops a team of EHS specialists. Coordinates EHS operations in a manner which produces a customer focused and cost effective operation dedicated to upholding and furthering the development of a world class EHS culture. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations, and keeps abreast of any changes to laws and regulations that impact the organization. Responsible for disseminating legal and regulatory changes to the organization. Support efforts to fully integrate EHS leadership into the business processes and strategic plans, and ensure monthly reports, statistics, and KPI's are reported on-time. Responsible for overseeing the submittal of all applicable regulatory reports within their region on time. Administers EHS training programs to meet regulatory compliance and company requirements. Responsible for assigned staff (e.g. environmental health and safety specialists) in assigning projects, defining accountability, performance management, salary administration, performance appraisal, staff counseling, and career progression counseling in a timely and effective manner. Operates within a budget as directed by the Global EHS Director. Performs other duties as directed. What makes you a great fit:
University Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field. Additional requirement of one of the following:
Related Master's degree or Certified Safety Professional (Board of Certified Safety Professionals), Professional Engineer license or Certified Industrial Hygienist (American Board of Industrial Hygiene) 8
years of directly related experience. Communication & Collaboration:

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
