Reporting to VP Finance Transformation, the Senior Director Global Strategic Sourcing leads UL's sourcing activities to support UL's Key Results through maximizing savings, driving year-over-year cost reductions, while maintaining or improving quality and vendor service levels. The Senior Director Global Strategic Sourcing will work with stakeholders across the Enterprise to develop effective strategies and implementation plans to rationalize vendors, develop preferred supplier partnerships and optimize solutions delivered. This role oversees the execution of the Global Sourcing Transformation strategy via the implementation a range of sourcing initiatives to support those plans. Creates a world class sourcing organization, continually upgrading the caliber of talent and ensuring effective training, development and talent management systems in place Leads strategic planning efforts for sourcing around Enterprise objectives that help support best-in-class execution Oversees the development and execution of sourcing optimization strategies & implementation roadmaps to support a synthesized view of business needs that challenges demand and drives standardization Oversees the process to select and manage suppliers; analyzes market data and supplier capabilities to maximize savings delivery and secure reductions Measures and tracks internal performance, while also monitoring strategic initiative implementation (e.g., tools and technology for process optimization) Develops Category Plans and Sourcing Strategy portfolio of key initiatives (e.g., developing spend category expertise across team/region; driving annual productivity improvements) Develops negotiation strategies and conducts negotiations as needed for spend over $10M Supports the creation of Board materials Performs other duties as directed What makes you a great fit:
Bachelor's degree in Business (MBA preferred), Information Technology, Supply Management, or related field and 15
years of experience in developing and executing category sourcing strategies Track record of managing and developing direct reports across a global, multi-cultural team Superior relationship management and cross-functional leadership skills Experienced sourcing practitioner, understanding of best-practice sourcing methodology and a demonstrated track record of working ethically to achieve excellent outcomes Expertise with sourcing and procurement technologies available in the marketplace today Solves complex problems and takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Leads initiatives with support and involvement of senior leadership Works independently in complex situations and lead functional teams/ projects. Proven track record of delivering significant and sustainable cost reductions through effective development and execution of sourcing strategy Knowledge of standard commercial contracting practices and procedures. Expertise in interpreting and summarizing contractual terms for internal clients, such as license rights, product entitlements, intellectual property, and use restrictions. Ability to take a hands-on approach to analyze and interpret spend data is support of sourcing initiatives and UL business objectives. Excellent process management, organizational and effective time management skills. Excellent presentation skills CPM/CPSM certification a plus UL has COVID-19 protocols and policies in place to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and clients. Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
