Our clients include six of the world's top ten automakers and five of the world's top ten automotive suppliers, as well as innovators in the fields of microprocessors, ASICs, autonomy software, and advanced sensing systems. kVA by UL is seeking an Autonomy Safety Consultant with a focus on Autonomous Vehicles to join our growing team. This consultant will help to assure the autonomy safety of complex systems, in applications ranging from autonomous vehicles to multi-core microprocessors to electric vehicle powertrains. The consultant will work with kVA by UL's technical staff and established clients to develop verified safe products, using leading-edge technologies and the best available safety approaches. This position can be located remotely anywhere within North America. What you'll learn & achieve:
Lead the development of safety work products for autonomous vehicles clients seeking compliance to standards in functional safety and related fields, including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600, ISO 4804 and other similar standards relevant to systems and software engineering. Apply skills to develop strong safety argumentation in support of safety case development Create safety requirements at different levels of abstractions. Perform safety analysis such as FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, STPA on wide variety of domains including L4 applications. Perform verification reviews or other technical review activities as directed. Lead full training events in topics relevant to autonomy safety and functional safety, including ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL 4600. Contribute to the development of UL technical standards and other relevant technical standards (from ISO, IEC, IEEE, SAE, etc.) by direct participation as member of standards committees. Contribute to the strategic direction of the business by providing technical and market expertise. What makes you a great fit:
M.S. or B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, related technical degree or equivalent experience 10
years of experience in safety related role including autonomy or functional safety. Hands-on experience in ADAS or autonomous vehicle systems Safety Analysis knowledge including FMEA, FMEDA, STPA. Experience working with ISO 26262 and ISO 21448 standards. Preferred Skills include:
Certifications for ISO 26262 and / or ISO 21448. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms for autonomous applications. Knowledge of scenarios definition and development for the evaluation and specification of autonomous vehicles. Experience on UL 4600 standard is highly preferred UL has COVID-19 protocols and policies in place to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and clients. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
