Communications Specialist
A pharmaceutical company in Illinois is looking to add a new Communications Specialist to join their growing team in a Remote capacity.
In this role, the Communications Specialist (Remote) will be responsible for providing planning and production support for communications function.
Responsibilities:
The Communications Specialist (Remote) will be responsible for:
Content development Managing email programming / testing / distribution Copyediting content from others Formatting documents or presentations Posting intranet news articles (SharePoint) Generating bi-weekly updates for fellow communicators, Supporting stock imagery and Digital Asset Management efforts Coordinating and scheduling meetings Creating strategy and executing campaigns for employee engagement on Viva Engage Updating SharePoint pages Taking notes in meetings, preparing meeting agendas and slide decks Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:

years of relevant work experience Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Public Relations, and/or a related field Email Marketing Platform experience (MailChimp, Poppulo, etc) Viva Engage (Yammer) or General Business Social Media knowledge Previous experience in a communications role for an agency or corporation Working knowledge of SharePoint Capability:
Ability to serve as an administrator, create/design and edit pages, and posting intranet news articles Experience with Copyediting Microsoft Office Suite proficient Solid problem solving and time management skills Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills:
Previous experience working in the Life Sciences space (Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Healthcare, etc.
) Knowledge on how to utilize a DAM, including image sourcing, image loading, and assigning image attributes Recommended Skills Agenda Development Attention To Detail Biotechnology Communication Coordinating Digital Asset Management Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
