Job Overview This is an exciting opportunity to work in the emerging market of telemedicine.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team.
This role is focused on managing various aspects of HR operations, with a specific emphasis on insurance, unemployment, ADP administration, onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining organized employee records.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a proven track record of effective cross-department communication and collaboration.
This role in person with an office in Northbrook, IL.
Responsibilities and Duties 1.
Insurance Management:
Oversee the administration of employee insurance programs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Collaborate with insurance providers to address employee queries and resolve issues promptly.
Assist employees with benefits-related matters and facilitate open enrollment processes.

Unemployment Coordination:
Manage unemployment claims by gathering necessary documentation and responding to inquiries from relevant authorities.
Work closely with legal counsel if required, to address unemployment-related challenges.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize unemployment claims.
3.
ADP Administration:
Utilize ADP systems for efficient payroll processing, time and attendance tracking, and benefits administration.
Collaborate with IT and finance departments to ensure seamless integration and troubleshoot any system-related issues.
Stay updated on ADP system enhancements and provide training to HR and relevant staff.
4.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Collaborate with various departments to streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.
5.
File Organization:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both in physical and electronic formats.
Develop and implement a system for efficient record-keeping, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
Provide necessary documentation for audits and compliance checks.
Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on insurance, ADP administration, and employee lifecycle management.
Proven experience in cross-department communication and collaboration.
Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
