Staff Attorney, Investments and Business Transactions
The candidate performs basic legal and factual research and investigation to formulate a legal opinion, identify risks and propose alternative courses of action. Provides assistance to other attorneys on major projects and assignments. Works with managerial guidance and oversight. Should be admitted to the Bar with 1-3 years working experience. Must be new or recent law school graduate, who assists more senior law department professionals and is closely supervised by more experienced attorneys. Builds professional experience while learning the practical aspects of applied law, as well as learning the functions of the business. Should possesses J.D. degree and basic legal and business knowledge. Must have experience in the investments or business transaction. As skills develop, should be able to perform routine legal work using established procedures. Must be able to communicate views effectively orally and in writing and represent position to others internally and externally.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
