## Description
The purpose of this department is
to support corporate strategies by developing and maintaining products that meet customer needs. Manage margins and drive profitable growth by drafting new contract language, evaluating existing language, managing and revising contract-related forms and documentation while ensuring contracts comply with the law.
The scope of this job is
to conduct insurance product research and analysis, draft contract language and document changes. Candidate will be expected to provide input regarding contract strategy and will be involved in the implementation of basic and intermediate level policy change projects. May coordinate multi state projects as well as coordinate activities between various functions within the company. Responsible for managing own projects end to end, ensuring completion within assigned timeframe and budget.
The position will be responsible for
1. The evaluation and revision of policy language and related documentation.
2. Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and are error free.
3. Collaborating with and building relationships across multiple functions.
4. Ensuring contract language adheres to state laws.
5. Developing into a Subject Matter Expert for Consumer Household Product lines.
6. Partnering with technology partners on requirements and validating output.
## Qualifications
1
Written and oral communication - intermediate
Contract knowledge - beginner 3 Strategic solution and design - beginner 4 Project/time management skills - intermediate
5 Build and maintain business relationships - intermediate
Experience Required: (type of experience and number of years required)
1-2 years work experience. Prior insurance and/or project management experience is a plus. CPCU courses/designation preferred but not required.
Computer Proficiency: (computer skills needed to do the job)
MS Office - intermediate.
Education: College degree preferred; Project Management Certification a plus
