Qualifications Basic
o Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
o At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred
o At least 7 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
o At least 7 years of experience working as SOLR Architect with at least 2 implementation cycle for Solr project involving Solr Search, Indexing, Deployment, Capacity planning.
o At least 7 years of experience working on Java technologies.
o At least 2 implementation experience of working on SSL compliant Deployment in clustered environment using Zookeeper AND Monitoring and Alerting using SMT and Deployment Script automation using python.
o At least 5 years of experience working as SME in implementing Apache Solr Architecture, Design & Engineering, with expertise driving the Client Team in Architecture and Design, especially in the following areas:
Architecture of Search using Apache Solr
Capacity Planning
Infrastructure requirements
Breaking point of search (Important)
Latency of Search
Update Index and Sharding
How to update, when to update
Operational:
Operational Readiness
Monitoring Tools
Failover and Failback strategy
DR Planning
o At least 4 years of experience in project execution
o Experience in Insurance industry Domain.
o Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point
o Analytical skills
o At least 4 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams
o Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.
