Position Overview:
The Public Relations Associate is responsible for presenting our brand directly to consumers through meaningful media relations and outreach campaigns that facilitate sales and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist department in all marketing and public relations efforts
Execute consumer focused public relations campaigns the engage target audiences in powerful brand messages and promotions
Support the development of promotional collateral and its distribution
Become knowledgeable in all clients products and services in order to assist customers during interactions and continuously build the brand
Conduct territory research for target markets
Interact with consumers directly with ease to facilitate marketing and sales initiatives to preferred customers and new business alike
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in marketing, business, communications or related experience strongly preferred
0-3 years experience in public relations, sales or marketing
Ability to perform duties independently, without supervision but know when appropriate to seek guidance
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
